DOLE sets special job fair for repatriated OFWs in Pangasinan

Overseas Filipino workers recently repatriated from crisis-affected countries may benefit from a special job fair in Lingayen, Pangasinan this coming week.
The Department of Labor and Employment said the job fair will be held September 12 and 13 at the Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO) of Pangasinan.
"We are willing to provide employment facilitation services to OFWs displaced due to crises or emergency situations in Libya, Syria, Israel, Iraq and other countries," DOLE Region 1 Director Grace Ursua said, citing a letter from PESO manager Alex Ferrer.
She added the Pangasinan PESO has invited local companies to participate in the special job fair, along with overseas placement agencies that charge no placement fees. — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
